Cognitive Behavioural Therapy(CBT) is a key component in our relapse prevention addiction aftercare program. CBT aims to treat the individual through a goal-oriented, systematic procedure that focuses on the present instead of rooting through the past. The third component to relapse prevention is Lifestyle modification which involves replacing old habits with activities that are designed to help an individual’s overall coping capacity. These may include meditation and exercise.

To familiarize our clients with a common community addiction aftercare support we integrate an in house twelve-step meeting. This addiction support program is a set of guiding principles outlining a course of action for recovery from addiction, compulsion, or other behavioural problems.
